I went into my bios settings and changed the thumb drive to boot first, saved and reset, but it still didn't boot into the test. You should actually get into the bios and set everything on default & try to boot from there to see if the problem is resolved.I don't know why it doesn't act if it does, then you have found your problem.Even though the laptop is plugged into the wall, the laptop still draws its power from the battery (just while charging simultaneously). Download HWMonitor and run it while you're playing, alt-tab every once in a while and record the temps on your CPU and GPU.
