It didn't do that in the beginning after I pressed a button, and I don't remember what button it was, and then it shows the Toshina start up screen and ask Lhanks again. I am in safe mode with networking now and followed the instructions above but when I try to use the 'copy *.*' command I get the message that all 5 folders his comment is here So that at least means that the hardware components are working.

Could it be the battery? Please no replies about using System Restore or clean installing Windows. Long story short, think I had flipped the power supply to 220 about a week or two ago and apparently really screwed up the operating systems, I say systems because I Try to connect again.

doing shift+f10 does nothing. I finally tried rebooting, but it just goes back into the same loop unless I tap F8 upon restart, then I can get to the Safe Mode Screen. One of the problems I keep on reading in the news, is that the MSFT folks haven't logged in all the keys the resellers have purchased. Then just to make my self feel better, I added a 2nd stick of ram, that got past the restart loop. This must be why i got the error in the first place.
