Not functional?? Crumpit/Whoville Yup, it is indexing the same files, but in the new location. Try a substring search using Vista in some heavily populated directories on a local drive or a network share - not very fast unless the files are already indexed. You can search the actual locations without it though.

Does anyone know if there is a solution to this? Run Services (just type "Services" at the Start Search bar), right click on the Windows Search service and select "Properties". Now I'm rsyncing new media files and plan on restarting the indexing afterward. This seems to be different with Vista.
