thanks for your help! Check whether the "DisabledComponents" registry key exists. The 3rd can open files on the other 2 but the other 2 can't open files on the third even though the files are visible. l can change it to automatic, but when l try and change it to start, I get error 1068, the dependency service or group failed to start.
