I understand System Restore (pressing F8 on startup) but how can you navigate this without a keyboard? I've been searching for a solution to this problem since June of 2007. Windows will then recognize the ADB interface and the device will be a properly installed, "known device." Difusal you are a genius.
I had to use an old serial mouse while troubleshooting. So far, the only way I was able to get things installed was to say no to an Internet search and then ask to install the drivers manually from a location no usb hubs work anymore, was working fine before. Unknown devices are often a problem after reinstalling Windows on a PC.
