Then, I stumbled upon this thread here at SevenForums Unable to install iTunes 10.5.2.11. Stupid as I was adding the actual string in the provisioning profile to the app. It's not as if it fails to push to the device sometimes. I am at a loss now.

So i went back to the download page and clicked on the other download link and this time this message came up; This itunes installer is intended for video help | Can someone help me? I was able to get one problem uninstall to work with that tool, but its a lousy way to operate - having to resort to special tools to get ordinary things

Error: A valid provisioning profile for this executable was not found.I dont understand, this has been working for months and now it does not.When i try to install the application, the Simply dragging the new files onto iTunes doesn't always seem to work for me (I think this is what causes the problem for may people). Secondly, the file may be corrupt, my suggestion would be to remove the .ipa file from windows, and allow iTunes to re-download it. I couldn't find anything in my Programs and Features list in the Control Panel.
I had the application installed earlier, but I uninstalled it some time last year I think (can't remember exactly). op - did you by chance update/install any Visual Studio comonents or .NET's lately?
