I just use it to steam netflix from my pc I need to set up my account on the xbox then i guess i dont have to worry about it. A good example of this is my current monitor when looking at a BIOS screen. If you still can't get it to work, try to see if you can get updated graphics drivers for your card. my 1366x768p screen has a native res of that, and a MAX res of 1080i.
