Only thing I've done is removed a stick of ram, and since then I've only had 5 freezes in about 43h, compare to 16 the 24 hours before that. I'll be sure to follow up. Swapped out cards and the issue went away.so if your gpu is under warranty try replacing it ...it may be a faulty one...

I know you checked the temps are reboot, but temps come down very very fast. Computer Freezing Locking Up And Making Buzzing Noise It doesn't sound like normal coil whine which I have dealt with before. First, disconnect the hardware, and uninstall the drivers for it completely.
